Louie has had some tough breaks. His owner abandoned him at the South Central City Shelter. He was put in a run with 7 other dogs, and he became very thin as he was afraid to compete for food. Louie was frightened and wanted to find a person he could trust. A rescue group rescued him and found him to be very affectionate with people he trusted. Louie is house-trained and loves to play with other dogs big and small. He love to play with stuffed toys or chase his tennis ball. He is a little mini retriever!! Louie has graduated from obedience school, Magna Cum Laude. We hope you will come to love Louie as much as we do!
