Rosa is a young girl who NEVER has had the fortune of having a home of her own. Rosa was rescued from a dumpster by someone who then gave up trying to find her a home and threatened to have her put to sleep. Once you meet Rosa and her joy for life, play and people, it will break your heart to see how people have failed her in her short life. Rosa loves to retrieve her toy, go on hikes and loves to just chew on her bone while you watch TV. She also LOVES the water!! She is fully trained and so well behaved...she is crate trained, leash trained, basic obedience, etc. She does prefer to be the top dog in the house and as such, would do best as the only dog or with another male dog. Her best friend is Joe the Sharpei mix and they love to chase each other around the yard. Her original rescuer abandoned her and we stepped in to make sure she did not suffer further. Rosa would be fine in an apt or condo as long as she gets adequate walks. She is well behaved when left alone for long periods of time and not destructive at all. Our trainer is also available for one on one lessons with Rosa's new adoptive family, if they are needed.
