Description: Smokey was abandoned with his two other housemates by his owners at a vets office in Los Angeles. The vets called animal control to come get the dogs. As the officer was picking up the dogs, a customer saw him say to the vet that all three would most likely be euthanized. The vet said there was nothing he could do. This kind person tirelessly networked the dogs who were at the North Central Shelter. One dog was adopted out, but the other two were certain to die. Fortunately, we rescued Smokey and another group saved his friend.
Smokey is a well behaved little guy...he is about 30 pounds and is happiest sitting by your feet. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and likes to run around the yard. He's rather mellow and a great companion. He is very well behaved in the house, housebroken and up to date on all shots.
Please consider giving Smokey his forever home!!
